The Awards tab (in the Info Block) tracks your progress towards the classic hamradio awards, computed directly from your logbook:

  • DXCC — worked/confirmed DX entities.
  • WAZ — worked/confirmed CQ zones.
  • IOTA, and Local award(s) based on the subdivision reference files you have imported for your country/organization.
  • DX-Marathon — the annual worked/confirmed DXCC-entities-and-CQ-zones award; enable it in Settings → Miscellaneous (Manage DX-Marathon).

Columns and figures shown

For each award, KLog shows Worked and Confirmed counts (Number of worked/confirmed DXCC entities, WAZ zones, local references, etc.), plus, for DX-Marathon, the Score for the selected year and the number of QSOs.

  • Select the year you want to check — award figures (especially DX-Marathon) can be filtered per year.
  • Check band & mode for needed status (Settings → Miscellaneous) — when enabled, KLog can flag whether an entity/zone is still "needed" on the band/mode you are currently using.
  • Recalculate — click to force KLog to recompute the award status from the log (useful after a bulk ADIF import or after changing your entity data).

While entering a QSO, the Info Block also shows Entity status for the current callsign — whether it is a New One (ATNO), already worked, or already confirmed on that band, using the colors configured in Settings → Colors. See Entering a QSO.

Award data quality depends on keeping your World / Entity data and Subdivision/Award reference files up to date, and on your QSL status being current — see Online Service Integrations.
