v1 - MVP

MVP - Minimum Viable Product

For the purpose of the MissChanger project MVP is used as a design requirement and a flag. It dictates that the group (or version) of the system that bare that flag must restricted the component (on top of the base Voron design) to those that are strictly required. The intend of this requirement is cost and scope control. It would a net negative to the project, if the entry point of MissChanger takes hundred of hours and cost as much as another Voron kit. For example, a USB splitter board, top-hat, etc.

v1 provides the option with the bare minimum hardware required to have the MissChanger up and run. This series is for those who are:

  1. Price conscious
  2. Do not need a dedicated tool-changer all the time
  3. Do not want to gut their current Voron printer

The most expensive part of a v1 build will be the tool-heads themselves.

v2 - A better experience

The purpose of v2 is to overcomes the inherent flaws of v1 and enhance it's capabilities.

It will also optimised the user experience in building and maintaining the system.
