Prerequisites

Before running the installer, make sure all required packages are installed. The installer script itself only checks for basic POSIX tools (cp, mkdir, find, date) — it does not verify that Hyprland or any of the ecosystem tools are present.

Core Stack

Install these first — they are the backbone of the setup:

Fonts

Install the following fonts (included in .fonts/ but can also be installed via package manager):

• JetBrains Mono Nerd Font — main monospace font
• Awesome Fonts — icon font for Waybar/Rofi
• Icomoon Feather — icon set
• Nerd Font Symbols — fallback symbol glyphs

yay -S ttf-jetbrains-mono-nerd ttf-font-awesome nerd-fonts-symbols-only

After fonts are installed, rebuild the font cache:

fc-cache -f

Note: The installer handles fc-cache -f automatically if fontconfig is available.
