@tuxmea Thanks for the hint. Speaking of which, the metadata.json may need some polishing anyway - at least the source and project page are not yet pointing to the new voxpupuli home. I am preparing a different PR for that. |

The cache is already present as a Puppet fact (checked for Debian, OpenIndiana (Illumos/OpenSolaris), and Windows), so we can pull that in to not have $statedir hardcoded anymore.
