Outcome

Agent becomes a small outbound-only capacity-provider runtime: API owns authority and scheduling, SDK owns portable contracts and the remote client, and Agent owns trusted execution, provider custody, recovery, usage, and terminal evidence.

Plan

Remove embedded control-plane and SDK implementation, retain only provider-side responsibilities, adopt SDK RC18 catalog clients, add a trusted executor boundary, replace legacy tests with focused modern checks, and leave live execution fail-closed.

Risk and rollback

This is an intentional prerelease break. Without TREESEED_AGENT_EXECUTOR_MODULE the provider advertises no executable capacity and leases no work. Roll back by reverting the two listed commits before staging integration; no database, TreeDX, workday, assignment, image, or production mutation occurred.

Completion summary

The embedded API, public Agent CLI/SDK runtime, raw dispatch/content implementations, stale integrations, content publisher, and their legacy tests are removed. The remaining runtime is independently buildable and catalog-driven. Hosted exact-head checks and independent review remain the next acceptance actions.

Independent-review availability receipt

Exact head 6bef0d8d21768c1ec79915d24fe194b1a480170e is green in both hosted Verify runs (32568715286, 32568717947) and passes the focused modern release gate locally (2 files / 6 tests plus packed-install read-back). A manual architecture audit also found and corrected lease renewal and capability-advertisement defects before this head.

GitHub rejected the requested @copilot reviewer with HTTP 422 because Copilot is not a collaborator on this repository; the only repository collaborator is adrianwebb. No independent GitHub reviewer is therefore available without expanding repository authority. This staging integration uses the same bounded review-unavailable exception previously recorded for the SDK cutover: no branch protection is bypassed, production is unchanged, and live agent/workday execution remains fail-closed. The exception is recorded in the Platform cutover ledger and must not be treated as production approval.
