What I Do

• Design reproducible bioinformatics pipelines on high-performance computing clusters.
• Develop and host portable shiny dashboards for genomic data digestion.
• Consult on experimental design to optimize effect size and select suitable statistical analyses.

I am a freelance bioinformatics / data analysis consultant. I provide a service that includes the full-stack of a pipeline; from low-level tasks like database normalization to high-level tasks like interactive visualizations.

• This includes expertise in
  • data storage, cloud infrastructure (proxmox, synology, PSQL)
  • reproducible containerized analysis (VMs, LXCs, docker, singularity)
  • quality controlling raw sequence data (fastqc, decontam, trimmomatic)
  • optimizing resource consumption (SLURM, multithreading, complexity analysis)
  • a plethora of statistical frameworks (data wrangling, RNA-Seq, phylogenetic analyses, machine learning)
  • statistical interpretation and interactive visualization (ggplot2, shiny)

This allows me to have insight into a breadth of data-science challenges that I translate into an accelerated research throughput for my collaborators. So whether your bottleneck is scaling Big Data^TM onto an HPC, or digesting the output of a niche statistical framework, I will steward your data every step of the way to ensure consistency and interpretability of the final output.
