Effects trajectories can now override individual song lanes while the other lanes keep playing. The pure C89 merger gives pitched noise temporary control of tone2, restores its current hidden state afterward, and restores the current PC speaker note after a speaker effect.
Uses fixed storage and integer arithmetic, with no I/O, heap, timer or driver ownership. Default and Chamber renderers are unchanged.
Validation: portable merger tests, preserved Default trace70D11B5D and bank regressions; the matching Windows/Beats integration passed65 native8088 emulator checks and recorded PSG/PIT playback. Native evidence is published with the Beats package in oemsound-tandy.
