Summary

Added a clickable example link to the README documentation that demonstrates the CSV formatting syntax with column specifications.

Changes

  • Added a live example link to the plottimeseries application that showcases the percent and currency formatting options with a sample dataset
  • The example URL is placed immediately after the CSV code block for easy reference and testing

Details

The example link demonstrates:

  • Percent type formatting with 2 decimal places
  • Currency type formatting with custom color
  • Hidden columns with custom labels
  • A complete working dataset that users can interact with directly in the application

This provides users with an immediate, interactive way to understand the formatting syntax without having to manually construct their own examples.

Uses the ?csv= query parameter (rather than #csv=) so the encoded
CSV is plain URL-encoded text, easy to reverse engineer.

The previous example link had a single data row, so the plot it opened
was empty, and it set revenue to #ff7f0e -- the same color the palette
already generates for the neighbouring column, so the one thing the
spec changed was invisible. Give it four rows and a color that does not
collide, and add a per-option link in the table so each key can be seen
on its own.

Every link was loaded in a browser against the dev server and checked
for the formatting, color, label and plot behaviour it claims.
