Nit: The dialog would probably say
"Command INST ABORT is Hazardous"
even when the only reason is that range checks are off. So maybe a different dialog text depending on what's causing the Hazardous?

This is still confusing because it sounds like the command is hazardous by itself. There are 4 options, command is hazardous or not, and range checking is disabled or not. Can we make it this explicit:
- Command INST CLEAR is Hazardous. Send?
- Command INST CLEAR is Hazardous and range checks are disabled. Send?
- Command INST ABORT is considered Hazardous because range checks are ignored. Send?
I'm open to alternative wording on #3 but something to make it clear that normally INST ABORT is not hazardous and the only reason I'm showing this popup is because of the range checks.
NOTE: That the INST ABORT command doesn't even have parameters so disabling range check doesn't really make sense ... however I think we should keep the popup for all commands just for consistency.

I think the same logic should apply if conversions are disabled because the conversion could make a command "safe".

Update wording and see if the Code Rabbit comment makes sense: Try sending various hazardous commands from history and see if the descriptions are correct.

Keep Send disabled until history values are applied.
commandLoading is cleared before populateParametersFromParsed() applies parsed values. The Send button then becomes enabled, while CommandSender.createParamList() reads computedRows. During the 100 ms delay, it can send the command's default values instead of the history values.
Clear commandLoading after restoration completes, and preserve the immediate clear when no parsed values exist.

Closes #4047
What changed
INST COLLECTTYPE=SPECIAL) renders again.MANUALLY_ENTEREDfor a state parameter is now highlighted yellow as hazardous. Why it changed
TYPE 2).get_cmd_hazardousonly flags states markedHAZARDOUS, so arbitrary values sent with no warning. The backend works as designed; Command Sender just never treated Ignore Range Checks as hazardous.sendCmd()now shows the dialog whenhazardous || this.ignoreRangeChecks. The confirm path already usedcmd_no_checks/cmd_raw_no_checks, so nothing else needed to change.openc3-tool-base/.../_overrides.scss(.v-theme--cosmosDark.v-select .v-select__selection-text { color: ... !important }) has the same specificity (0,3,0) as the scoped.hazardous[data-v] .v-select__selection-textrule. Whichever stylesheet loads last wins, and in the app that is the theme rule. The selector is now.v-select.hazardous :deep(...), which wins regardless of load order.hazardouscomputed returns true whenmanuallyEntered, so the highlight matches the dialog.Testing strategy
Review notes
manuallyEnteredfeeds the existinghazardous-changeevent, the command description in the chooser also turns yellow when MANUALLY_ENTERED is selected, consistent with the SPECIAL behavior.🤖 Generated with Claude Code, edited by Callie
