Updating

S'argo (.jar File)

1. Grab the latest .jar in the Releases page.
2. Extract the .jar file from the .zip and overwrite the old .jar file.
3. Done!

Settings.xml

If a newer version of Settings.xml is required, it will be noted in the change logs.

1. Grab the latest .xml in the Releases page.
2. Replace the default settings with your desired settings.
3. Rename the settings file to Settings.xml.
4. Replace and overwrite your existing Settings.xml file in your /data/ folder.

Banners.xml and Images

With every new banner release in SAO:MD, the S'argo's official database will be updated with the latest information.
Please note that this process is manual, so banner updates will not be released as soon as they come out.

1. When the bot is running, use the command update. Note that you must be the Bot Owner to run this command!
2. The bot will then automatically download the latest Banners.xml from the Data Repository and any missing images.

The update command has two other modes that you can use: reset and overwrite.

Reset can be run through using the command update r. Using this mode will delete all files in your /images/Characters/ and /images/Weapons/ folders and re-download everything. Due to the large amount of files that are being downloaded, this may take a large amount of time depending on your internet speed.

Overwrite can be run through using the command update o. Using this mode will overwrite any existing character or weapon image regardless if they already exist. Since you will be downloading everything, this may take a large amount of time depending on your internet speed.
