[BUG] Software crashes when I click on "View Atlas"

Expected Behavior

I expect for the software to either display the samples with/or without the atlas.

Actual Behavior

The terminal displays a multitude of error codes, and it crashes the system

Steps to Reproduce

Go to source folder
click on computer
click on backslash
click on media
click on specified folder
click on the hard drive the data is on
Then click on choose
In paths set channel_0 data type to Autofluorescence
In paths, set channel_1 data type to cells
In geometry, click on magnifying glass
then click on view atlas

Hi @bsatterw , thanks for submitting the report.
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the behaviour so I'm wondering if this does not come from the event sequence. Just to be sure, could you please send the sample.yml file. Feel free to anonymise the comments and file path as I don't care about specifics I especially want to see if there is something fishy with the geometry.
Also, you should get some logs in the terminal prior to that about setting the atlas. Those should be extremely useful.
I think the QT messages you see might be noise but, can you confirm that other graphical programs work OK on your machine ? A simple test with xeyes and glxgears should suffice.

@bsatterw the resolution is not defined for "channel_0". try to copy from an other channel (using the "settings from" "copy" buttons in the geometry tab. this should populate the field in the sample.yml file.
Also please update your install (git pull & python setup.py install) so we are sure that we are working from the last commit of v3.1.x

My apologies. Today the computer isn't recognizing the samples, so I'm unable to access the geometry tab. However, we did do git pull yesterday and everything was up to date. As far as the resolution goes, is it possible that it could null due to channel 0 having its resolution set to Auto?

@bsatterw yes, that is possible. This is a known issue I need to work on. please specify your res explicitly and see if this helps
