Unable to run TissueLab demo — “Run” button and model import both greyed out #8
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to explore TissueLab, and I really appreciate your great work and your detailed explanations.
Issue description
I cannot run the demo in TissueLab.
Here are the detailed symptoms:
After generating a workflow,
the Run button is greyed out and cannot be clicked.
When trying to Import Existing Model,
the model list is also greyed out. Even after selecting a model and clicking “OK,”
nothing happens in the interface.
As a result, I cannot start any workflow run.
My questions
Where can I download or load the required models?
How can I make the workflow run properly for the demo?
Thanks for using TissueLab! Could you please try downloading the associated task nodes first? You can also check out this video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1_HW4isWI4 (also available in our homepage tissuelab.org)
Moving forward, we’ll continue improving the tutorial to make it easier for everyone to follow. We apologize for any confusion in this early version.
Thank you very much for your guidance.
I believe the first step should be to download the node tasks, right?
However, I haven’t been able to download them — neither from the TissueLab interface nor from GitHub.
I tried using a VPN and ran git clone to download the latest code, but it still failed. The log is as follows:
$ git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/zhihuanglab/Tissuelab-Model-Zoo "K:\doctor\tissue_lab\Src\Tissuelab-Model-Zoo-1"
Cloning into 'K:\doctor\tissue_lab\Src\Tissuelab-Model-Zoo-1'...

error: 4062 bytes of body are still expected

As a personal suggestion, would it be possible to upload the model to Baidu Netdisk for easier sharing?
It would be such a pity if such an innovative product cannot be used simply because the models cannot be downloaded. Let's work together to remove this obstacle.

About 3 hours ago, I tried downloading the compressed package using a VPN. I was able to download a small part of it and imported it. Is this correct?
Could it be that Tissuelab-Model-Zoo is too large to be downloaded directly?
I guess the Tissuelab-Model-Zoo repository might be several gigabytes in size, right?
PS K:\doctor\tissue_lab\Src\Tissuelab-Model-Zoo1111_1833\Tissuelab-Model-Zoo> git pull
Already up to date.
PS K:\doctor\tissue_lab\Src\Tissuelab-Model-Zoo1111_1833\Tissuelab-Model-Zoo> git status
On branch main
Your branch is up to date with 'origin/main'.
nothing to commit, working tree clean
I’m not sure if the download is complete or whether I need to configure model paths manually.
Next, I just try to run!

You can try downloading with VPN since we host those models via Google Cloud. Alternatively, you can download and configure models manually with https://github.com/zhihuanglab/Tissuelab-Model-Zoo

For Github repo, please consider clone the repo rather than download the zip file. Check out this tutorial for more information: https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/creating-and-managing-repositories/cloning-a-repository

I tried downloading the model repository manually via VPN (it took around 12 hours).
Download command used:
git clone --depth=1 https://githubproxy.cc/https://github.com/zhihuanglab/Tissuelab-Model-Zoo.gitGit status after download:
I’m not sure if the download is complete or whether I need to configure model paths manually.
