This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.

Follow these steps to set up and run the project using Docker.
- Install Docker:
- Windows & macOS: Docker Desktop
- Linux: Follow the instructions for your distribution at Docker Engine

Clone the Repository:
git clone <repository-url> cd Notesmalik

Build the Docker Image:
docker build -t my-app .This will generate a Docker image named
my-app. -
Run the Docker Container:
docker run -p 3000:3000 my-app
This will run the container and map port 3000 of the container to port 3000 on your host machine.
The Dockerfile used for building the image is as follows:
# Use the official Node.js 20 image as the base image
FROM node:20
# Set the working directory inside the container to /app
WORKDIR /app
# Copy package.json and package-lock.json (or yarn.lock) to the working directory
COPY package*.json ./
# Install dependencies
RUN npm install
# Copy the rest of the application code to the working directory
COPY . .
# Generate Prisma client
RUN npx prisma generate
# Build the application
RUN npm run build
# Expose the port on which the app will run
EXPOSE 3000
# Start the Next.js application
CMD ["npm", "run", "start"]
