Spotlight Incident Reporting App

Spotlight is a simplistic incident reporting android app in java using firebase features.🔥

Getting Started

To be able to build and run the app you will need to -:

• Create a project on Firebase. Instructions here
• Enable Email and password based authentication in the Auth section. Instructions here
• Create/Enable the Firebase Realtime Database
• Get the google-services.json file. You can follow the instructions here.
• Once you have downloaded the file, copy it into your project's module folder, typically app/
• To enable the use of Google Maps get an API Key and add it to the local.properties file. Check instructions here
• Sync the project.
