I'm a recent "convert" to Linux. I'm running Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS. I installed Notion Desktop from the App Center. I am an avid Notion user.
The issue: I document and take a lot of notes that are shared with team members who I share a note with. Frequently I need to display an image that explains something. If I capture an image, and then either drag and drop it into a note, or copy it from my file system and try to paste it into a Notion note, I get a brief animation like it's trying, then I get a message that says:
This image couldn't be loaded.

After which (about 3-6 seconds), the image placeholder changes to this:
I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to drag and image in (as I did here on GitHub, and can do with the web browser version of Notion and the Windows Desktop version), copy and paste it in.
UPDATE:
During the testing to get you additional screen shots, I discovered that even using the /image command, and trying to select an image on my mounted SSD drive failed. This lead me to test dragging and dropping from my main file system, success.
So, the issue appears to be any images I am attempting to drag and drop or copy and paste from my "mounted drive" is failing.
The mount is stable, persists after reboot, the fstab has been updated to reflect it.
