A single-player archery career game built with React, TypeScript, and Vite.
Long Draw Archery puts you on the professional archery world tour. Compete across 5 events per season in real-world cities — Seoul, Paris, Las Vegas, Sydney, and Cape Town — each with its own mix of distances from 18m to 90m.
The core mechanic is real-time aim stabilisation. Your bow drifts continuously from simulated hand tremor, and you correct by countering the movement. At longer distances, you'll need to compensate for gravity drop and read the windsock to adjust for wind — no assists, just learned intuition.
Each event ranks you against 49 AI competitors on a full leaderboard. Event results feed into season-long championship standings, with the top finisher crowned World Champion. Strong finishes reduce your bow shakiness over time, but an aging curve kicks in from age 30, making each season progressively harder. Your career starts at 18 and ends when you choose to retire.
The game tracks your full career history: championship positions, medals earned, and career highlights shown in a retirement sequence when you finally hang up the bow.
