Welcome to the pianobar++ wiki! This is a super cool project if you listen to Pandora. This is a command line client. As you can see from the name this is not the first rendition. Allow me to give you some history. Pianobar was created by PromyLOPh. Almost all of his code is still in use. From there innoying forked the project, renamed it Pianobarplus, and made it download the songs. However, they would all download as "SONG-TITLE by ARTIST.mp3". This functionality quickly annoyed me so I forked innoying's project to change the way saving songs is handled. From there I have been playing around with the project just for fun.

Here are the main difference between Pianobar++ and Pianobar(plus).

• Songs will now save to pianobarplus/artist/ARTIST/SONG.mp3
• Songs will be linked to pianobarplus/stations/STATION/SONG.mp3 so you can keep your songs sorted by genre
• Favorited songs will be linked to a favorites folder
• There is a configuration option to delete songs they have been banned
• Everything will now print to the terminal in colors for easier reading
