print send now records a timelapse by default. [print] timelapse changes the default, and --timelapse / --no-timelapse override it. Explicit --timelapse=false remains supported.

slice accepts multiple models as separate objects, preserves their orientation by default, and uses Studio to arrange them with at least 3 mm between parts. Studio exposes spacing through sequential object clearance, so an arrange-only pass sets that clearance before slicing with the original machine/process settings and arrangement disabled. Batches must fit on one plate.

X1C preflight checks first-layer object lines and arcs against the front startup strip and front-left exclusion corner with a 1 mm margin. Collisions fail; missing or unsupported geometry fails in strict mode and send dry runs. Startup extrusion and travel are excluded. Existing payload fields and the single-input slice summary remain compatible; geometry evidence and the input list are additive.

Validation: GOTOOLCHAIN=go1.26.10 make ci passes, including race tests. Real Studio 02.08.02.61 produced one plate with three asymmetric models, identity rotation matrices, and a minimum measured gap of 3.01096 mm. The known colliding plate fails the new gate; two clean plates pass it. Live checks were read-only; overall preflight remains blocked while the printer is busy. Independent pre-publication review found no actionable defects.
