Some consumer-router forwarders answer every dotted query but go silent for root-zone ones, so the upstream liveness probe read a healthy resolver as dead and the DNS takeover refused to run, leaving the host without Magic DNS. The probe now falls back to an `example.com A` question before giving up on an upstream, and a mock resolver that drops root queries pins the behavior in tests. Seen in the wild on 0.4.0: `.ray` names unresolvable for five days on an Alpine host behind such a router while the mesh data plane stayed healthy.
Add the full dashboard and native menu bar, automatic daemon migration, system logging, and disconnect-on-quit behavior. Serve the existing CLI protocol from the network extension and bundle the original Rust ray binary. Include signing configuration, app assets, and migration and IPC tests.
Build and publish signed Apple Silicon and Intel DMGs on releases, with manual artifact builds and explicit signing prerequisites. Add a Retina installer layout and make the menu bar connection status a toggle. Advance the local app build to 10.
…-probe fix(dns): keep Magic DNS up when the router drops root-NS probes
Add the native macOS app and ARM64 daemon distribution. Build DMGs for versioned releases and manual runs; keep CI to tests, linting, and bindings checks.
