feat(sync): add progress block and detailed logs

I took a focused slice of this work into a replacement PR: #26.

The simple outcome we want is better visibility while a long sync is running. The user should be able to see:

• the overall totals
• what each fetch worker (P) is doing
• what each write worker (C) is doing
• the task, state, and elapsed time

#26 contains only that UI/state work. It is one commit and does not change queue claiming, retry behavior, stale-claim ownership, logging, timeout policy, or resume semantics.

What should stay out of this PR:

• request logging and new CLI flags
• timeout policy
• unrelated error-path rewrites
• the remaining resume ambiguity from Retry of syncs seems to be broken #18

Those are useful ideas, but they are separate decisions and make the change harder to review. The queue correctness work from #19, #20, and #23 is already on main and should remain untouched.

My recommendation is to use #26 as the focused replacement and close this PR as superseded once #26 is reviewed.
