Completed the nix option, my Python knowledge isn't very good so if I did something bad practice or you'd like something changed lmk.
The error handling is done so it can handle itself relatively cleanly when unable to fetch something (in cases like the repo error coding), which happened to bzip2's sourceware repo during my initial testing and would cause the script to crash with a
JSONDecodeError.It adds dependency on having nix-prefetch-git in path when running with
--to-nix, but anyone working on a nix package should have access to the nix package manager so that's easy for them to add to their environment.
