iamb is missing messages when I wake my laptop from sleep

I'm running iamb on my laptop. After I wake it from sleep, iamb is missing the messages sent while the laptop was asleep. I'd expect iamb to fetch those messages when it reconnects after the laptop wakes up.

In my experience iamb doesn't realize that a sleep happened and will fetch all messages after the current long-running request times out (after two minutes at most).
