Superseded by 4507de4 (v0.12.24-beta.3, #415) — the via_device_id migration already raises the requirements_test.txt floor to >=2026.8.0 directly on master, which is the version both new APIs actually need. Keeping the floor there rather than following this PR's 2026.8.3.
