This is a stable version of the Household OASIS activity-based framework. This repository includes the simulation code, based on the Python API of the CPLEX solver. Household OASIS (Optimized Activity-based Scheduling and Interaction Simulation) is a multi-agent activity scheduling model designed to simulate the daily activities and travel decisions of all members within a household. The model jointly optimises individual and shared activities while accounting for time constraints, location choices, travel modes, and household interactions. It provides a flexible framework for studying mobility behaviour, coordination within households, and the impact of policies or infrastructure changes on activity schedules.
For more details, you can find the technical reports and papers in the Literature folder.
We recommend creating a new environment using the provided requirements file to install the correct packages.
NB: You need a valid CPLEX user license to use the solver, which can be obtained here.
