服务端仍要求 hashes 恰好等于 pages,trendingai 的 staging 发布因此在写指针时被 400 拒绝(manifest.json hashes does not cover exactly the modules in pages)。

Summary by Sourcery

Support i18n assets in package manifests and verify their presence and integrity before publishing releases.

New Features:

  • Add manifest support for optional i18n language files and require the default language to reference an available file.

Bug Fixes:

  • Validate and publish i18n assets alongside page bytecode, preventing incomplete or hash-inconsistent releases.

Enhancements:

  • Extend manifest hash coverage to include both page modules and i18n files, with file-path validation for i18n entries.

Tests:

  • Add coverage for missing or mismatched i18n assets, successful publication and retrieval, incomplete hash declarations, and invalid default languages.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Packages can include language-specific string files and declare a default language. These files are included in the package payload.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Publishing verifies that every required package file, including language files, has been uploaded and matches its declared hash. Publishing is blocked until required files are present.
    • Packages are rejected if language files are missing from the declared hashes or if the default language has no corresponding file.

(tinyui docs/updates.md §1.1)。

Reviewer's Guide

Adds end-to-end i18n manifest support for tinyui 0.8.0: manifests validate i18n paths and require matching hashes, publication verifies uploaded page and i18n bytes before writing the pointer, and tests cover missing content, successful delivery, and incomplete hashes.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The manifest supports localization metadata and includes i18n files in its payload. Publishing checks that each payload file has been uploaded and matches its declared hash. Tests cover missing uploads, localized strings, hash coverage, and default-language validation.

Changes

i18n file publishing

Layer / File(s) Summary
Manifest i18n metadata and payload
src/manifest.ts, test/helpers.ts
Manifest accepts validated i18n metadata, and payload includes i18n file paths alongside page bundles. The test helper creates localized files and adds their hashes and manifest metadata.
Publishing validation and coverage tests
src/app.ts, test/publish.test.ts
The publishing route checks each payload file for an uploaded object and a matching hash. Tests cover missing i18n uploads, serving uploaded strings, incomplete hash coverage, and a default language with no corresponding file.

Merge Risk: ⚪ Minimal · up to 17597

Publishing currently checks i18n file hashes. Adding a regression test for an incorrect declared hash would improve confidence, but no current publishing failure is established.

Security Architecture Review

Security architecture risk: 🔵 Low · up to 17597

The new localization files receive the existing package and publication controls, with added presence and hash checks before publication. No introduced security failure was established, but downstream compatibility and deployment behavior remain unverified.

Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.

Security review details

Security Blast Radius

  • observed — Publication authority remains scoped by package token and channel permission. Stored assets use package and version keys; channel pointers select releases, while the existing version-content route serves stored objects.

Trust Boundaries and Controls

  • observed — The publisher verifies the signed manifest with the registered package key rather than a manifest-supplied key, checks request identity against the manifest, then compares each declared asset hash with stored metadata before moving the pointer.

Resilience and Maintainability Implications

  • observed — Content uploads accept identical retries but reject different bytes at an existing version path; publication performs object checks before its revision-checked pointer write.

+        const i18n = m["i18n"] as Record<string, unknown> | null;
+        const files = i18n?.["files"];
+        if (typeof i18n !== "object" || i18n === null || typeof i18n["default"] !== "string" || typeof files !== "object" || files === null || !Object.values(files).every((v) => typeof v === "string")) {

+        manifest.i18n = { default: i18n["default"], files: files as Record<string, string> };
+    }
</code_context>
<issue_to_address>
**issue (bug_risk):** `parseManifest` accepts an `i18n` object whose `default` is empty or is not present in `i18n.files`, and it also accepts an empty `files` map. Such manifests pass validation even though the declared default language does not identify an uploaded translation file.

**Triggers:** When a signed bundle supplies malformed or empty i18n metadata.

**Suggested fix:** Require a non-empty default language, require it to be a key in `files`, and reject an empty `files` map if `i18n` is present.

```suggestion
        if (typeof i18n !== "object" || i18n === null || typeof i18n["default"] !== "string" || i18n["default"] === "" || typeof files !== "object" || files === null || Object.keys(files).length === 0 || !Object.values(files).every((v) => typeof v === "string") || !Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call(files, i18n["default"])) {
```
</issue_to_address>

Sourcery assessment

Needs a human reviewer. 1 finding to address first, and this changes manifest validation and the publication gate so i18n objects are required and then served as part of a released version. If the validation or path mapping is wrong, a release could be blocked or an incorrect static file could be published; reverting fixes future behavior, but already-uploaded or served objects would need cleanup or a new release.

Add a test for an incorrect i18n hash.

The current i18n tests cover a missing hash and a matching hash. They do not cover an uploaded i18n object with a present, valid-format, but incorrect SHA-256. Add this case to ensure publish compares i18n/en.json bytes with manifest.hashes["i18n/en.json"].
