Changes:

  • uses Gradle with the Kotlin DSL
  • refactored the run files for readability

Added:

  • Hot reloading while developing (resources and java/kotlin code)

Gradle Kotlin adds more support within the Intelij IDEA and it's used in many examples
Also updated the reload to also check for deleted files

Could use help with uniforming some configs. I feel like there are things all over the place and that I need to prop a lot into multiple classes. Would love to have thoughts on how to approach it better.

For example, the .hytale file, the wizard (project name and mod name separated) and the files which are over 100 lines making it difficult to read and scope

Able to add hot reloading, not fully happy with the result yet it currently works. I'll see if I can refactor some things to make it beter readable and isolated to have tests created for them.

I'll undraft the PR and see if I can add other improvements through other PR's.
