Darwin Core is designed to represent occurrence data in a flat format, but is possible to provide related information about an occurrence, e.g. measurement data, or information about samples drawn from that occurrence such as a stable isotope or carbon dating sample.

One approach is to use dynamicProperties, another is to use measurementOrFact. Darwin Core QA thread on stable isotope samples.
