    Third 2026 Darwin Core public review. Public review will open 2026-11-16. The closing date for the incorporation of public comment will be 2027-01-15. Proposals with consensus will be processed and presented to the TDWG Executive Committee by 2027-01-31. The Executive Committee has a maximum of 30 days within which to approve the recommendations of the Darwin Core Maintenance Group. Upon ratification, proposed changes will be put into production by the Maintenance Group as quickly as possible.

  • First post-DwC-DP release

    Public review opened 2026-07-16. The closing date for the incorporation of public comment is 2026-09-15. Proposals with consensus will be processed and presented to the TDWG Executive Committee by 2026-09-30. The Executive Committee has a maximum of 30 days within which to approve the recommendations of the Darwin Core Maintenance Group. Upon ratification, proposed changes will be put into production by the Maintenance Group as quickly as possible.
