webMAN wallpaper

A Wallpaper Engine Web Wallpaper to display stats from your PS3 by scraping webMAN.

Getting Started

You will need a homebrewed PS3 console that is running the webMAN mod. webMAN needs to be accessible over LAN. To find your PS3 IP go to Settings > Network Settings > Settings and Connection Status List.

Custom backgrounds

webMAN wallpaper accepts custom video/image backgrounds. You must provide the URL. The accepted formats are .mp4, .webm, .ogg, .jpg, .png, .gif, .webp.

Modifications

Modifications and new features are welcome. You can also republish this on Steam Workstop but please attribute tbwcjw (github) if you do so.

To view the wallpaper's console output, in Wallpaper engine go to Settings > General > Developers > CEF devtools port and set a port. Devtools will then be accessible in the browser by visiting localhost:[port]. This wallpaper will appear in the list as xmb integration wallpaper.

Required File Notice

The required xmb_looped.webm can be downloaded seperately from MEGA. It was too large (>100mb) for Github. Put it in the img/ directory.

The font SCE-PS3-RD-R-LATIN.TTF can be downloaded seperately from here. Rename it to sceps3.TTF and place in the font/ directory.
