PDFs, books, articles, scans, and notes · 26 voices · On-device listening · Document AI when you ask
AudioPage is a native iPhone and iPad read-aloud app for everything you meant to read. Import a PDF, EPUB book, DOCX document, web article, scan, screenshot, or pasted note; choose a natural voice; and listen while you commute, walk, exercise, or get other things done.
Core reading, text recognition, and speech generation happen on your device. Connected document AI is separate and runs only when you deliberately request a summary or ask a question about a saved document.
- Turn almost anything into audio. Bring in PDFs, books, documents, links, printed pages, screenshots, images, and plain text.
- Listen privately, even offline. Once a voice is ready, core speech is generated and played on your device.
- Keep your place. Background audio, Lock Screen controls, progress tracking, and sentence highlighting make long reads easier to finish.
- Understand, not just hear. AudioPage Pro can summarize long documents and answer questions grounded in the document you opened.
- No account for local listening. Sign in only when you want connected document AI or optional private sync.

Does AudioPage send everything I read to the cloud?
No. Imports, text recognition, reading, and speech playback are local-first. A document is sent for connected processing only when you deliberately use Summary or Chat, or enable an account feature that needs sync.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for local reading and listening. Sign in with Apple only when you want document AI or optional private sync.
Can AudioPage read scanned pages and screenshots?
Yes. Camera scans, photos, and screenshots are recognized with on-device OCR, then added to your library as listenable text.
Does it work offline?
Yes for core reading and listening after the selected voice is ready. Live web imports, document AI, account features, and purchases require a connection.
