This repo exists to submit Council and Community requests for work outside the bounty system and public repos.
- An issue is opened here. It states the problem, what "done" looks like, and which repo the change belongs in.
- Someone claims it by commenting on the issue.
- The work is submitted as a PR here.
- The PR is merged.
- A retro bounty is assigned based on the merged work — scope, quality, and impact.
An issue is worth picking up when a contributor can read it and start working without asking three follow-up questions. Include:
- What is broken, missing, or worth building
- Which repo and roughly which area of it
- What acceptance looks like — the condition that makes a PR mergeable
- Any context a newcomer would not already have
Bounties here are retroactive by default. Nothing is promised in advance, and opening or claiming an issue is not a contract. The amount is decided after the PR merges. If an issue does carry a pre-agreed amount, that will be stated in the issue itself.
