TinyTDS Makes Things Easy

Most of the platform installation wiki pages were written when ODBC was the preferred connection mode for the adapter. The modern connection mode is is DBLIB and that uses the TinyTDS gem Please read the Using TinyTDS page which covers all the details for all platforms.
