Some glyphs not rendering correctly

Some glyphs -most notable Greek lower case theta- are using the wrong Windows-1252 mojibake value when the SVG is rendered.

The example issue of small theta not rendering is a result of placing that character within an <m:mo> (operator) element, rather than within a <m:mi> (indicator) element. MathJax therefore interprets the glyph differently. Simply using the correct element resolves this issue.
However, there are other less frequently used glyphs that are not correctly rendered, regardless of what element is used. These are likely to be edge cases, but further investigation is needed.
