…focused files The single file (49 tests, 13.8 s) was the parallel run's floor for this package: under --parallel a file cannot be split across workers. Split by subject - stub-argv pins, real-tmux input/streaming, and liveness/geometry probes - over a shared harness (socket registry + reaper, pollers, the issue #244 frames). Same 49 tests, verbatim bodies; package wall clock 13.9 s -> 5.3 s at width 12.

tmux-runner.test.ts(1195 lines, 49 tests, 13.8 s) was the packages job's floor: under--parallelone file is one worker. Split into stub-argv pins / real-tmux input / liveness probes over a shared harness; test bodies verbatim. Measured: package 13.9 s -> 5.3 s at width 12, serial (CI regime) unchanged; 49/49 in each run, fullbun run test51/51, verify-types + biome + prose clean.
