Summary

A focused UX pass on the connection flow plus app-wide interface polish and two bug fixes. See CHANGELOG.md (Unreleased) for the user-facing list.

Connection screen (redesigned)

• Two-pane layout — connection type, driver, and saved connections in a left rail; details in a focused right pane. Fields are reachable without scrolling.
• Segmented input mode — paste a connection string or fill manual fields, not both at once; a pasted string auto-fills and validates on connect.
• Cleaner provider picker — Neon, Supabase, PlanetScale, and Prisma Postgres as a single calm list with a clear selected state and a compact sign-in action.
• Redesigned error + footer — connection errors show as a readable inline alert; the footer has a clear status chip (Ready / Unsaved / Connection OK / Failed) and unambiguous Test / Connect actions.
• Crisp inputs — visible outline + a single accent focus ring, consistent across the app.
• Wider connections rail; fixed flicker when switching between saved connections or drivers.

Interface polish

• Button press feedback; consistent, snappier open/close motion for menus, selects, popovers, tooltips, and dialogs (menus scale from their trigger).
• Respects the system reduce-motion setting.
• Sidebar row baseline alignment, higher resting contrast, refined section headers.
• Tightened Settings spacing and control feedback.

Bug fixes

• Fixed "Limit must be at least 1" when opening a table after choosing "All" rows — page size falls back to a valid default (50).
• The data grid no longer offers Set NULL on NOT NULL columns; it shows a clear message instead of a write that would fail.
• Connection screen: chrome is no longer text-selectable; pointer cursor on every clickable control.

Notes

• The branch also carries in-progress backend (src-tauri/src/db/*) and entity-relationship diagram changes that were already in the working tree; they are included in this branch's diff but not itemized in the changelog.
• npm run build passes.
