Minor Changes
82c5569: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth can wait before switching off when the lid closes. Settings ›
When the lid closes › Switch off: immediately, as before, or after 10 seconds up to 30
minutes. Open the lid again inside that time and your connections, AirPods and calls
included, are never touched. When the time is up and the lid is still shut, eWiz wakes the
Mac for a moment to switch them off. A docked Mac switches off as it sleeps, as before,
because a wake would light the monitor on the desk. This needs the updated helper, which
installs itself; with an older one the radios switch off at sleep as they always have.
Lid-close radios are also more dependable. Sleep now waits for them to switch off; it used
to start straight away, so they could go off late, sometimes only at the next wake. A wake
with the lid still shut no longer turns them back on inside the closed lid or logs a lid
session. And a second sleep in the same close no longer forgets they were on, which could
leave them off when you opened the lid.
