Report mode-7 glyphs with a distinct GlyphDrawMode::Clip instead of Invisible, so TextFilter.images ("exclude image/OCR text") keeps clip-originated titles while still dropping invisible OCR layers. The raster renderer paints nothing for Clip, as for Invisible.

Reviewed and built on Windows 11. The fix is correct. One documentation gap below, and a duplicate to settle.
Behaviour. On a page with 7 Tr text filled through its clip plus a 3 Tr line, pdftotext extracts both (Clip Title, OCR layer). main (d8b2705) only extracts OCR layer. This head extracts both, matching pdftotext.
Tests fail without the fix. All 3 new tests pass on this head. I tried two reverts:
- dropping the new
draw_glyphcall failsclipping_only_text_is_extractedandclipping_only_text_survives_image_filter; - reporting the glyph as
GlyphDrawMode::Invisibleinstead of the newClipfailsclipping_only_text_survives_image_filter.
The raster test guards the other direction (nothing is painted) and is unaffected by either revert, as expected.
The new variant is safe. Every Device in the workspace either forwards the mode (the pattern and Type 3 wrappers in hayro-interpret) or ignores it (the test devices in raster.rs, DummyDevice). hayro's renderer matches exhaustively and now treats Clip like Invisible, so the compiler would flag any future device that forgets it. Type 3 text in 7 Tr is still drawn as a fill by the existing override, as ISO 32000 §9.3.6 says only mode 3 affects Type 3 glyphs; this PR doesn't change that.
Gap: vendor patch documentation. This adds two vendored patches (GlyphDrawMode::Clip in hayro-interpret, and its arm in hayro's renderer) but doesn't touch vendor/README.md. Each vendored change is supposed to be listed there with its covering test.
Duplicate. #3116 (jonathanwxh-cell) fixes the same issue, #3109, with the same show_glyph call but reports the glyph as Invisible. That shape drops clip-only titles whenever the image/OCR filter is on (word count, exclude-image text). The second revert above is exactly that shape, and it fails this PR's filter test. So I think this PR's distinct mode is the better of the two; the maintainers can decide which to take.

Fixes #3109.
Text drawn with rendering mode 7 (
7 Tr, clipping without filling or stroking) was invisible to text extraction, Find, word count, and search-redaction, even though it renders on the page. Inshow_glyph, theCliparm called onlyclip_glyphand never reported the glyph to the text device.The fix reports the glyph with
GlyphDrawMode::Invisibleafter clipping — the same pattern theInvisible(mode 3) arm uses: the text becomes extractable without painting anything. Type 3 fonts are unaffected (the existing override maps non-invisible modes toFillfor Type 3). The vendored patch is marked pervendor/README.mdpolicy.Tests:
text::tests::clipping_only_text_is_extracted— extracts "Hello World" in modes 0/3/4/5/6/7 (failed before:7 Trextracted"").raster::tests::clipping_only_text_paints_nothing_but_still_clips— pixel test: 7 Tr text paints nothing alone, and the clip still shapes later painting.cargo test -p pdfcraft-render --lib: 302 passed, 0 failed.
