steel browserran a vendored agent-browser engine in a local daemon. Now each action is one request toPOST /v1/sessions/{id}/commands, and the engine runs inside the session. No process stays running between commands.Cargo.lockdrops from 415 to 288 packages.next, current tab, and last snapshot in~/.config/steel/browser-sessions/<name>.json.Idempotency-Key, and wait onrunningwithstatus. A retried command never runs twice.--sessionalso takes a session ID, so the CLI can drive sessions that the SDK or MCP created.--diff,dialog,status,cancel,get markdown,pdf,wait --download,keydown,keyup, andmouse.uploadtakes local files.cookies,storage,set,highlight,bringtofront,diff,scrollintoview,setvalue, andget styles. In 0.5 they print an alternative instead.
