'JSON deserialization for type 'ChromaDB.Client.Models.Responses.CollectionEntriesQueryResponse' was missing required properties, including the following: data' #81
I am getting this error "'JSON deserialization for type 'ChromaDB.Client.Models.Responses.CollectionEntriesQueryResponse' was missing required properties, including the following: data'
"
I am using dotnet C# and getting this issue while retreving query...not sure ...please help..
Code :
var queryEmbedding = new ReadOnlyMemory(new float[] { 0.15f, 0.25f, 0.35f, 0.45f }); // A query embedding
var queryResults = await collectionClient.Query(
queryEmbeddings: new List<ReadOnlyMemory> { queryEmbedding }, // Changed from array to List
nResults: 1, // Number of results to return
include: ChromaQueryInclude.Metadatas | ChromaQueryInclude.Documents | ChromaQueryInclude.Distances
);
Hi @mubarak0443 - which version of the Chroma database (and Client library) do you use?
Because it depends on a) version of the database (potential mismatch between client version and supported Chroma DB version), b) format of the data - whether the data inside Chroma is indeed structured in the expected format.
Did you insert the mentioned data through this library, or using some other kind of SDK?
Same issue here... I inserted the data using this same SDK, so the data formats should be compatible. The chromadb version is 1.5.8. The ChromaDB.Client version is 1.0.0.

Chroma 1.x does not send
datain the query response, and the client requires it. In ChromaDotNet.Client it is optional (#84).
