Core Concepts

The Pomodoro Technique πŸ“š

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that divides work into high-focus intervals (typically 25 minutes), followed by short breaks. This approach helps maintain concentration, reduce mental fatigue, and boost productivity.

F1 Tire Strategy 🏎️

In Pitmydoro, you choose different "tires" based on the intensity and conditions of your work:

  • πŸ”΄ Soft – Short, intense focus bursts
  • 🟑 Medium – Balanced sessions for steady progress
  • βšͺ Hard – Long-duration deep work
  • 🟒 Intermediate – Adaptable sessions for mixed tasks
  • πŸ”΅ Wet – Flexible timing for unpredictable conditions

Each tire type can be customized in Settings to match your workflow. Pit Stops (Breaks) Just like in Formula 1, pit stops are essential:

Short breaks – Quick refreshers between pomodoros Long breaks – Extended recovery after completing a full stint

These breaks aren't optionalβ€”they're part of your winning strategy.
