I build and maintain open-source software focused on practical developer tooling, with a particular interest in React, Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy and business application development.

My current featured project is ra-devextreme-grid, an open-source integration between React-Admin and the DevExpress DevExtreme React DataGrid.

The project provides both React-Admin-managed grids and true server-side DevExtreme operation, including remote paging, multi-column sorting, nested filtering, summaries, grouping and group paging. It also includes a fully tested FastAPI, SQLModel and SQLAlchemy reference backend showing how to implement these capabilities securely and efficiently.

I created ra-devextreme-grid because DevExtreme is already a very capable enterprise DataGrid, particularly for server-side applications, and I wanted it to work as a first-class grid within React-Admin without sacrificing the strengths of either framework.

The core project is released under the MIT licence and is intended to remain freely available to the community.
