Quick Start

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/snehil21/Performance-Review-System.git
   cd Performance-Review-System

2. Start the application

   docker-compose up --build

3. Access the application

   • Frontend: http://localhost:3000
   • Backend API: http://localhost:3001
   • Swagger Documentation: http://localhost:3001/api

4. Create an admin account using the Sign Up button

   • Email: admin@example.com
   • Password: any 6+ character password
   • Role: Admin

Development

Backend Development

cd backend
npm install
npm run start:dev

Backend runs on http://localhost:3001

Frontend Development

cd frontend
npm install
npm run dev

Frontend runs on http://localhost:5173

Database

PostgreSQL 15 with automatic schema synchronization via TypeORM.

Default Credentials:

• Host: localhost
• Port: 5432
• User: postgres
• Password: postgres
• Database: performance_review
