This makes it so that the max number of trials it'll run when finding portals is 5 * the number of potentially valid portals left in the pool + 20.
"Potentially valid portals left in the pool" means any portal for non-direction pairs, and means the number of opposite-direction portals for direction pairs.
Also gave it an even earlier out if the number of potentially valid portals in the pool equals the number of portals that have been confirmed for the pick 3, so that it just runs a little smoother when you have 1 or 2 valid choices for a portal.
