Summary

This PR only changes docs. shelltime/server#518 makes ShellTime's server comment on the PRs this mod links, as the ShellTime GitHub App. The comment shows the session's cost, tokens, time, model, prompts and lines changed, and links to the session on shelltime.xyz.

This updates the root README and the shelltime-statusline README ("Pull request links" → "Session cost comment") to explain:

  • when the comment is posted (a couple of minutes after linking) and when it is edited (at 30 min and 24 h)
  • that it leaves out USD amounts for users who hide their AI cost
  • that it only goes on PRs opened by a GitHub account linked to the user's ShellTime account
  • that it is not posted without the app installed or on GitHub Enterprise
  • that once deleted, it is not posted again

The mod and the CLI need no code change: the existing PostToolUse hook already sends the PR URL with the session id, and the server does the rest.

Merge after shelltime/server#518 is deployed.

When the ShellTime GitHub App is installed on the repository, ShellTime's
server comments on each PR the mod links with the session's cost, tokens,
time, model, prompts and lines changed, plus a link to the session. It
edits that comment 30 minutes and 24 hours later. The comment leaves out
USD amounts for users who hide their AI cost, only goes on PRs opened by
a GitHub account linked to the user, and is not re-posted once deleted.
The mod and CLI are unchanged; the server does the work.
