Hello, I'm Semiha — a Software Engineer and 42 Paris alumna.
I previously worked at nao Labs, a Y Combinator-backed startup, as a Full-Stack Software Engineer ([January 2025 – July 2025]). On a 4-person team (3 eng, 1 data), I helped build an AI-powered IDE — a VS Code fork designed for people working with data. My work spanned the full stack:
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, Node.js
- Backend: Python, Django — serving both the website and API endpoints
- Core feature: an AI agent, built on OpenAI's API via their Python SDK, integrating with users' databases and workspaces
- CI/CD: Contributed to streamlining the team's pipeline
Since November 2025, I've been working as a Python developer and pipeline engineer at Everest Studio in Paris, developing tooling built on Ynput's AYON Pipeline Platform. My work covers:
- Add-ons & integrations: AYON server add-ons and DCC integrations for Adobe After Effects, Nuke, Houdini, and Substance Painter
- Backend: Python
- Frontend: React, TypeScript
- Deployment: Docker
- CI/CD: GitLab — SAST, SBOM, secret detection, linting, testing, building, and releasing
