What

Reframe OpenGateSP's public-facing positioning to lead with what it does, and confine every reference to ShareGate to a single, disclaimed, nominative comparison.

Across 22 files (README, docs, GUI, both manifests, changelog, cmdlet help), replaces competitor-referential framing — "ShareGate-parity Phase N", "the open equivalent of ShareGate's <feature>", "mirrors ShareGate's structure", "ShareGate-style", "Protect-style" — with the tool's real, independent sources: Microsoft Fluent 2, PnP PowerShell + Microsoft Graph / SharePoint APIs, and the generic assess → move → verify → govern migration lifecycle.

Kept (intentionally)

  • The README "How it compares to ShareGate" section — table + honest gap disclosures — with a neutralized (non-disparaging) intro.
  • A single "an independent alternative to ShareGate" clause + the sharegate-alternative tag in the winget / PSGallery manifests (discoverability).
  • Non-affiliation / trademark disclaimers, now naming the actual owner (Workleap).

Why

Reduces trademark-as-identity optics and removes the "we built similar features" wording — the weakest point under ShareGate's EULA §2.5(d). Positioning change only.

Scope & safety

  • Docs, strings, and comments only — no code, cmdlet, parameter, or version change.
  • Verified: Test-ModuleManifest valid; all edited scripts parse; XAML well-formed; residual sharegate grep = intended comparison mentions only; Protect-style = 0.

Follow-ups (next release, not this PR)

  • winget-pkgs needs a fresh PR to publish the manifest text.
  • PSGallery Description / ReleaseNotes update lands on the next Publish-Module.

…sclaimed comparison

Lead every surface (README, docs, GUI, both manifests, changelog, cmdlet help)
with what OpenGateSP does — built on Microsoft Fluent 2, PnP PowerShell, and the
generic assess-move-verify-govern migration lifecycle — instead of "ShareGate
parity / mirrors ShareGate / the open equivalent of ShareGate's <feature> /
ShareGate-style / Protect-style".

Keep exactly one honest, disclaimed nominative comparison (the README "How it
compares" section + a single "alternative to ShareGate" clause and the
sharegate-alternative tag in the winget/PSGallery manifests), and name the
trademark owner (Workleap) in the non-affiliation disclaimers.

Docs/strings/comments only — no code, cmdlet, parameter, or version change.
