The app can help you generate Declarations One and Six that can then be submitted to the NRA portal. You can also calculate your social security payments and taxes and keep track of your general income. The Declarations output is the same as the original NRA software gives you, but hopefully the interface is slightly better.
The data is stored locally in the user's directory.

Download the latest version for your OS from releases, unpack and run the executable file. When you download a new version, just replace the old file with the new one.

If you want to develop in a browser and have access to your Go methods, there is also a dev server that runs on http://localhost:34115. Connect to this in your browser, and you can call your Go code from devtools.
To build a redistributable, production mode package, use wails build. See Wails docs for details: https://wails.io/docs/reference/cli#build
On Ubuntu 24 you have to build with this tag:
wails build -tags webkit2_41
