On macOS the launcher resolves settings.json relative to its working directory, which for a Jagex Launcher install is inside the RuneLite.app bundle. macOS 14 blocks writes there, so saving from the Configure window fails -- silently, since saveSettings() only logs the IOException and ConfigurationFrame.save() then reports success and closes. Document the symptom, how to confirm it from launcher.log, and the App Management workaround, plus a pointer from the launcher configuration page.
