Two more features from the daily roadmap (the business panel, 3.11.0, is already in main through #7):

• 3.12.0 · Ship map (AIS), roadmap SDR-Kit 3.2–3.3: bilingual panel, doctor/backup, hardened login, docs and screenshots #4. Decode → 🚢 Ships: an offline radar-style map of the ships around you, with name, type, size, speed, course, destination, distance and trails. SDR-Kit has its own AIS (NMEA) decoder, fed by AIS-catcher or rtl_ais. Distress beacons (AIS-SART, man overboard, EPIRB) are shown in red. New mode ais, API GET/POST /api/ais; demo mode simulates eight ships and a beacon.
• 3.13.0 · Listen-only user, roadmap Ship map (AIS) and listen-only user (3.12.0, 3.13.0) #8. Optional second password VIEWER_PASSWORD (sudo sdrkit viewer). That login sees and listens to everything but every change is refused with 403; it does not see the saved WiFi networks, system logs or updates. GET /api/status now includes role.

How was it tested?

• Demo mode: pytest tests (130 pass, including the new test_ais.py and test_viewer.py), node tests/i18n_check.mjs, ruff check --select E9,F63,F7,F82 files tests, and node tests/ui_smoke.mjs in English and Spanish (3 clean runs).
• The AIS decoder is checked against a real AIS sentence and a bit-exact encoder round trip.
• Not verified on real hardware: the command-line options used to launch AIS-catcher / rtl_ais have not been run on a Pi. This is stated in the changelog and the user guide.
• The listen-only view was also opened in a browser: no refused requests or errors on load.

Checklist

• New user-visible text is wrapped in _t() and has English in a lang-en-*.js catalog
• Runs comfortably on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (no new background work unless the ship map is switched on)
