Comparative evolutionary pharmacogenomics of PTGS paralogs

This repository contains the reproducible computational workflow, analytical outputs, figures, manuscript drafts, and supplementary architecture for a single-author study of PTGS1/PTGS2 evolutionary pharmacogenomics.

Project overview

The study integrates global human genetic variation, transcript-aware annotation, population differentiation metrics, functional-domain mapping, structural modeling, docking analysis, and signal-peptide biogenesis proxies to compare PTGS1 and PTGS2 as distinct evolutionary pharmacogenomic systems.

Core interpretation

The analysis supports a topology-aware model in which PTGS1 diversification preferentially intersects signal-peptide/biogenesis-associated architecture, whereas PTGS2 diversification converges on catalytic-channel pharmacogenomic remodeling.
